Fun at Fort Jefferson

We finally got the video uploaded with our slow wifi connections. Woke up early to get the best connection.  I finally broke down and ordered a hotspot.  Can’t wait to get it.

This is the moat that surrounds the the Fort. We must have walked it 4 or 5 times. It was so magical. On one occasion Mark and I walk this at night and when we rounded the last corner the ocean was splashing turbulently on the wall. I refused to cross it and turn back so I met Mark on the other side. He being the more adventurous one was not sure why I wanted to turn around. On a side note we did some snorkeling around about 1/2 of the wall until it got too rocky.

We went primitive camping here on this peaceful and magical island. 70 miles off the shores of Key West. Snorkeling was unbelievable. Weather was perfect. When we left our cat buster got out while we were carrying our back packs and stuff to the Bike and did not return. So we left his bowls under the coach and a shirt for him to lay on. We boarded the Yankee Freedom Ferry with heavy hearts.
