Old railroad bridge

Old railroad bridge

Walked up to the old railroad bridge. The view was breathtaking. It was fairly windy . I had to take off my hat. It was built in the 1930’s to supply the keys and South Islands with goods. It was built before they had a road. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bahia_Honda_Rail_Bridge
A modern wonder of it’s time.

The railroad bridge was built by Henry Flagler who also built Flagler College in St. Augustine. I can’t even imagine going over that bridge in a train.
